1906 Kinney, truly fell into our laps. The main house—a three-bedroom farmhouse—required significant infrastructure upgrades to bring it back to life. Our first challenge was tackling the mess left behind, and after filling two full dumpsters, we were finally ready to begin. We installed a new roof, water heater, AC unit, and a drainage system to resolve a wet basement. To improve functionality, we enclosed the three-season room at the back, creating an additional bedroom, and made minor bathroom layout changes. The kitchen cabinets were refreshed with paint, new flooring was installed throughout, and a fresh coat of paint tied everything together. Much of this renovation took place in the fall, when the large lot was especially beautiful, with leaves turning and gently blanketing the ground—ultimately transforming it into a wonderful home perfect for a new family.
